Joking-not-really-joking with my friends yesterday about needing a support group for people with giant legs. I've been doing these super heavy workouts to develop strength and endurance for karate, in no way expecting that I would actually gain a lot of muscle mass. J/K, my thighs are now gigantic and I've put on 15 pounds. There's a degree of anxiety from no longer fitting into the standard slim=attractive box. On the flip side, I straight picked up my husband this morning, which is PRETTY AWESOME. Awesomeness trumps bogus standards every day.
