Sam and the Bear Mafia continues apace! Sam is obviously totally cool, she lives in an imaginary Pacific Northwest where they have sun, and I guess cows? Everything hand-drawn with actual ink on actual paper (if you look close I think you can see the blue lines I forgot to take out), EXCEPT for the screen tone, which was done LABORIOUSLY in Krita. Mostly laboriously in that I can't figure out how it's supposed to work. The whole point of screentone is that you can fill spaces with a regular pattern of black or white, but Krita's screentone brush lays down a pressure-sensitive pattern! and the pattern fill is full of grays! what the heck.
